Day 1: Rudraprayag

06:30 AM - 01:00 PM(Breakfast at rafting camp Kaudiyala. After breakfast, see the confluence of Bhagirathi & Alaknanda at Devprayag)

The Har Ki Pauri is the most famous ghat on the banks of the Ganges at Haridwar. This is the ghat that witnesses the daily aarti ritual and welcomes crowds which flock the banks for the aarti. The Har ki Pauri is also known as Brahmakund and mythology suggests that Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu had visited this place during the vedic times. A temple is built around a large footmark which is believed to be the imprints of Lord Vishnu. Budget and luxury hotels are located near the Har ki Pauri to house all types of visitors and guests who visit Haridwar.

Visit the Ardhnarishwar temple. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. The idol worshipped is of half male and half female.

Day 2: Gaurikund

Joshimath is one of the four ‘maths’ created by Adi Shankaracharya. Joshimath is the home of Shri Badrinath during winters. Joshimath is connected with Auli by the highest cable car of Asia. Joshimath is situated at an elevation of 1,890mts above sea level. Do visit Kalpavriksha and Narsingh temple while on a visit to Joshimath. It is situated 14kms from Joshimath.

Joshimath is the winter seat for Lord Badri.

03:00 PM - 10:00 PM (Darshan / pooja / aarti/ dinner/ night halt)

Stop at Badrinath dham for evening darshan, pooja and the vibrant aarti. Have a warm dinner and rest for the night.

Day 5: Badrinath Temple

09:00 AM - 11:00 AM (After darshan/ pooja) (One way traffic)

Badrinath is the most sacred Dham of India. It is located at an elevation of 3,133mts above sea level in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand state. This Dham was established by Adi Shankaracharya in the 9th century. The deity of Badrinath temple is Lord Vishnu. The temple is situated on the right bank of the holy Alaknanda River.

11:00 AM - 02:00 PM (Lunch break at TRH Joshimath)

After the darshan at Badrinath dham, stop at Joshimath and have a hearty lunch.

02:00 PM - 05:00 PM (Visit Auli by cable car on your own payment basis)

Location Name: Joshimath

Visit Kalpavriksha and Narsingh temple while on a visit to Joshimath. Try the cable car route towards Auli. 

05:00 PM - 10:00 PM (Dinner & night halt)

After enjoying the cable car ride, have your dinner and overnight stay at Joshimath.

Day 6: Rishikesh
